Orange and green DSi bundles arriving Friday

Mario Party DS is a good game but I definitely don't need it seeing as I already have it. I never really was interested in getting a DSi although my DS has officially pooped itself. I'm just gonna wait for the 3DS next year...

I love my DSi. Was well worth the money(only 50-55 dollars after trading in ds lite and other stuff!) Shantae: Risky's Revenge!!!

I made a conscious decision not to buy the DSi. There's just too little in added functionality to justify the purchase. That's the same reason I won't buy additional colors of systems I already own.

Amazon just sold me a brand new DSLX for $139.99. I love a good sale.

@Red-Metal @gamerpipe It's a good deal nintendo has been doing this sort of thing for most of this generation of consoles all you have to do is check the sales figures to see how simple yet effective it's been also don't forget the PS2 still sells so it shows everyone doesn't automatically pick up the latest version when the old ones cheaper I'm looking at one for my little brother currently since his got a "bit" wet and stoped working although I could be mean and keep the new one and give him my old DSlite muahahaha!

I was thinking about getting the Mario DSXL as it's a good price but I may go for the Green DSi instead. Only interested in playing the games and my phat is getting a little old. And yeah, I DO know about the 3DS - not really interested.

Ooh - Orange is my favourite colour.... may be time to finally get another DS as I sold my Lite a while back now.... or do I just wait for 3DS... hmm(?)

I have been wanting new colors for the DSi since it came out. White, black, blue, and pink are all fine colors, but I always wanted others. I wanted dark green, dark red, maybe a glossy black one, and pretty much anything else, too. I bought the baby blue DSi for my girlfriend on her birthday last year, then her brother got the white one for Christmas. Our mutual friend Kyle had the black one already, and I had yet to get a DSi for myself. I don't like getting a handheld the same color as any of my friends and the only color we didn't have between us was pink. So my girlfriend bought me the pink DSi for my birthday this year. I'm a dude, so sometimes people find it funny I have a pink DSi now...It's just a color...lol What's ironic is that I downloaded Bejeweled Twist for my new pink DSi and my girlfriend played it and loved it, so she took my DSi and let me use her blue one.

Why is Nintendo doing this? They are just going to lose sales since everyone is saving their money for the upcoming 3DS.

@luciferbelmont are you serious (laughing to myself)? what kind of argument are you referring to? functionality and color-type are two different things. my original thought was on functionality. If you are someone who would, lets say - buy a car, and then trade it in a year latter because its now in blue, then so be it. but i don't like to throw money out of windows randomly. maybe you use your DS as an accessory for your fashion statement, other wise my comment of, "i love my DS," would be confusing to one with such views. also I would like to point out my reference to "options," within the device; furthermore, i also spoke about the upgrade from the DS (original) to the first version of the lite. maybe you misunderstood the emphasis of my post. come on, this is not rocket surgery (although grammar in posts might be), and if you need 10 bucks to save up for a duplicated product, thats cool, but a new color hardly bequests a second purchase of any product. and when did i say i had a DSi, my attention to the DS/lite should sufficiently show evidence that i do not have a DSi if i find those additional features to be pointless. reading words and reading comprehension are not the same thing. thank you for the attempt.

Well, at least they're making an effort for us to own the older models before the newer, much more awesome 3D model comes out with a brand new set of games that won't be supported on the older models. Actually, that's ridiculous. Different colours and the 3DS comes out in five months... Yeah, I think I'm just going to wait for the 3DS. When this bundle comes out in Australia, it's going to be higher than $150... Why can't it be $150 worldwide?!

What is so difficult about launching or soon after launch having multiple colors? They only do this so that when sales slow they release a new color and treat it like it is something new and grand. They are just lazy and trying to get more money by not releasing multiple versions early on.

So these are regular DSI? i just the DSI XL but i have been thinking of getting one of each DS.

DSi is great in it's own right but I'm going to pass on it and wait for the 3DS :D

Yeah I bought a DSi XL when DQ9 came out...did not know the 3DS was coming out so soon. So, uh, that sucks for me haha.

Bundles are always nice to get. However, the 3DS is around the corner!

@NOscope42 Your argument is dumb you need to think before you speak its obvious that its for people who DO NOT have a DSi yet you already have one why are you complaining. 10 bucks its because your jealous these colors didn't come out when you bought your DSi.

i love my DS, but why the hell do they come out with one every other month (it seems like). I agreed with the DS upgrade to the lite, but after that, I have never seen a use for any of the other options the newer ones have.

Green would be cool, but I still got my original from '05, and it plays GBA games. I'm just waiting for the 3DS like a lot of y'all are.
