If SFV isn't due until 2018- why announce it now with a trailer that looks like SFIV with a fresh coat of paint? Yeah, it was leaked ahead of schedule BUT it was still made almost four years before the game's release to be shown at some point in the near future.

they will release an edition every year till 2018.

I can Understand why people doesn't want to buy it. After the whole DLC thing with SFxT I was so pissed off I had to pay content that was ALREADY ON THE BLOODY DISC!!!!

I like SFxT also if Ultra Street fighter IV had the tag team modes That would be cool I get to use my fav characters in a team battle.

People need to stop viewing this as "new" games. You ONLY buy one game then whenever a new game is released you can choose to pay for it like DLC in any other game.

It took 6 years to fo from SF II to SF III, nine to go from SF III to SF IV, one to go from SF IV to SUPER SF IV, another to go from SUPER SF IV to SUPER SF IV ARCADE, AND ANOTHER ONE TO GO FROM SF IV ARCADE TO ULTRA SF IV. Don't worry SF fans, from here to 2018, you'll get like another 4 or 5 "new" Street Fighter IV. Suggested names: OMG SF IV, LOL SF IV, OMGWTF SF IV, ROFLCOPTER SF IV, SUPER URSTILLPAYINGFORTHIS SF IV.

Perhaps they are hoping some of us older traditionalists kick the bucket by then so they can do something in full 3D again :P

I am actually glad that they will take their time in innovating a new SF game. They always tried doing new things, and that is why we only have 4 games in the series

I'm all for keeping this game for 4 more years.
The current SF4 is still very popular online.

If a SF5 came out now, everyone would ditch SF4 and we'd all have to shell out big bucks for new PCs and consoles if we don't want to miss the party...
All for changes that would be mostly visual...

I don't necesarily like Capcom and their business practices... But I think this time they're doing the right thing.
