Nintendo Switch 2 Accessories
Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller
$85 | Releases June 5
The new Pro Controller features a design similar to the original, but there have been some improvements made to it. For starters, it has the dedicated C button that can be used to activate the GameChat function and it has two extra customizable buttons on the rear. The other features included here are HD Rumble 2, motion controls, a capture button, and a 3.5mm audio jack for headsets. Beyond that, it has all the inputs you need to enjoy a modern video game.
Joy-Con 2 Pair
$95 | Releases June 5
We're expecting the Switch 2 to be great for social gatherings, and if you're planning to have a few friends over, you'll definitely want to snap up some extra Joy-Cons. These feature some interesting new enhancements, like the new magnetic attachment, the C button for GameChat, HD Rumble 2, and the new mouse controls which should make them great for first-person shooters like Metroid Prime 4: Beyond or strategy games like Civilization 7.
Joy-Con 2 (Right, Red)
$55 | Releases June 5
For now, it looks like a single Joy-Con 2 will not have a price increase attached to it. If you need a spare one for party games, you can grab it for just $50. This has all the features you'll find in the two-pack, but if you're looking to make use of GameChat specifically, you'll want to buy the right-hand Joy-Con 2 specifically.
Joy-Con 2 (Left, Blue)
$55 | Releases June 5
Just like the right-handed Joy-Con 2, the left-handed one has all the same tech specs. The only real difference here is the dedicated capture button, which can be used for snapshots and game clips.
Joy-Con 2 Charging Grip
$40 | Releases June 5
For a more traditional controller setup, you can insert your Joy-Con 2s into this cradle. This works well when they're running low on power, as you can insert a USB-C cable into the charging port and play a game at the same time. Like the Switch 2 Pro Controller, you'll also find two customizable buttons on the back of the cradle.
Joy-Con 2 Straps (2-Pack)
$14 | Releases June 5
It's very advisable to get some wrist-straps for your Joy-Con 2s, and if you have extras, you can equip them with this physical safety feature. These snap in and out of place easily thanks to the release button, and they can also provide extra satbility when you use the Joy-Con 2s in mouse mode.
Joy-Con 2 Racing Wheels
$25 | Releases June 5
The Joy-Con 2s have motion controls, and if you're planning to grab a racing game like Mario Kart World, then these racing wheel attachments are a fun option for that extra slice of authenticity. You'll get two in the box, and the controllers can easily snap into place via a magnetic connection.
Nintendo Switch 2 Camera
$55 | Releases June 5
Nintendo is placing an emphasis on the social side of gaming with the Switch 2, and if you'd like to beam your face to your friends and family, you can grab this camera for those occasions. The official Switch 2 camera plus into the USB-C port on top of the console and it comes with a built-in privacy shutter. It also has an adjustable wide-angle lens, and a high-sensitivity and face-detecting image sensor that can automatically adjust the picture based on ambient brightness.
It is worth noting that other webcams will also be compatible with the Switch 2, but at the time of writing, we're not certain which ones have made the cut yet.
Nintendo Switch 2 Dock Set
$120 | Releases June 5
In case of an emergency, you can pick up a spare dock for your Switch 2. This set comes with the device that charges your console and connects to your TV, as well as extra cables.
Nintendo Switch 2 Carrying Case & Screen Protector
$40 | Releases June 5
There's a good chance that you'll want to take your Switch 2 with you when you're not at home, and protection is a must for this premium device. Nintendo's official carrying case is designed to be stylish and sturdy, and it comes with a cleaning cloth and a screen protector as well.
Nintendo Switch 2 All-In-One Carrying Case
$85 | Releases June 5
If you think you'll be away from home for a long stretch, then you'll want to consider the all-in-one carrying case that Nintendo offers. This one has enough space for your Switch 2, its dock, Joy-Con 2 controllers, cables, and up to six Game Cards. It also comes with a screen protector and a cleaning cloth.
Nintendo Switch 2 AC Adapter
$35 | Releases June 5
Accidents can happen to AC adapters--like pets chewing on the cables--and fortunatenly, a replacement is easy to find. The plug and its cable can also be easily seperated, and if you need to charge your Switch 2 while your dock is out of reach, a spare adapter is worth having around.
Samsung MicroSD Express Card – 256GB for Nintendo Switch 2
$60 | Releases June 5
The Switch 2 will have an internal storage capacity of 256GB, but you're going to want to look at increasing the space you have available to you when high-profile games like Borderlands 4 and Elden Ring arrive on the system. Only MicroSD Express cards can play games on the Switch 2 due to the system having higher data transfer requirements, and Samsung's officially licensed card offers very good specs.
While the Switch 2's accessories will help you get the most out for the new console, let's not forget the real stars of the Switch 2's launch: the games. The same day the console launches on June 5 will see Swith 2 exclusives like like Mario Kart World and Bravely Default: Flying Fairy HD Remaster, as well as Switch 2 Editions of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom that are enhanced with better visuals and performance and integration with a new mobile app that lets you check the in-game map and even repair broken equipment from your phone.
