New The Elder Scrolls Online trailer heralds beta signups going live
New CGI trailer sets the tone between the game's three warring factions; gamers can sign up to take part in the beta now.
ZeniMax Online has released a new trailer for upcoming MMO The Elder Scrolls Online as the game's beta signups go live.

The Alliances trailer shows a warrior, mage and thief fighting for control of Cyrodill's White Gold Tower, one of the game's central locations - all three of the game's factions will be able to compete for control of Cyrodill, with the faction able to install its own Emperor if victorious. No gameplay footage is shown in the trailer.
Signing up for the beta, specifics of which are currently unknown, requires players to give Bethesda specifics about their PC or Mac and agree to a lengthy nondisclosure agreement. "The moment you have been eagerly awaiting is finally here," reads the beta signup website. "Now is the time for future members of the Aldmeri Dominion, Daggerfall Covenant, and Ebonheart Pact to rally and show your support!"
The Elder Scrolls Online is expected to launch this year, though one analyst has already said it will inevitably go free-to-play. For more information on the upcoming MMO check out GameSpot's previous coverage.
