New Media: Malice

Argonaut has released new screenshots of and story details for Malice, its 3D platformer for the Microsoft Xbox. Malice's story centers around a young girl who accidentally releases a fire demon from captivity. The demon then threatens to set the entire world on fire and goes on a rampage leaving a slightly twisted reality in its wake. The young girl must then set off on a quest to thwart the demon and return it to confinement.

Malice contains 25 levels of gameplay. As the player progresses through the game the young girl acquires magical powers and evolves until she becomes a goddess worthy of confronting the demon. In addition to her magic skills, the young girl may also use weapons such as the clockwork hammer, the mace of clubs, and the quantum tuning fork.

Malice is currently scheduled for a fall release to coincide with the launch of Xbox. Look for much more on Malice in the coming weeks.
