Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance Jetstream DLC out today

Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance's Jetstream DLC will be released today on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation Network, publisher Konami has said.

Jetstream will cost 800 Microsoft points on the Xbox 360 and has yet to be officially priced on the PlayStation 3. The DLC has players take the role of Revengeance antagonist Samuel Rodriguez. Konami says the DLC features "multiple hours of all-new gameplay."

The game's previous VR Missions DLC is exclusive to the PlayStation 3 in the US, but is available on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 across the rest of the world.

A third piece of DLC will also be released for the game, focusing on Revengeance's knife-wielding, railgun-toting canine robot Blade Wolf, though no release date for the content has yet been made public by Konami.

Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance scored 8.5 when reviewed by GameSpot in February.

Metal Gear creator Hideo Kojima has also said he is open to more Metal Gear spin-offs in the future.

OMG!!!! I dont know but i always wish i could play with games' bad ass antogonist characters. This is it, we'll get to play as Sam fucking Rodrigues in this DLC. SHIT!!!

My guess when they say multiple hours they must mean at best 2 as I seriously doubt it will be longer then the main game and I finished that in just a wee bit over 4 hours. I feel they should offer this and the other dlc comming for free due to their very over priced lack of content yet fun game.

This game is okay: I didn't like the gameplay much, The controls were awkward, the game is way too short. disappointed in the story a bit I wanted to know Raiden backstory more then save little kids brains. I will prefer ninja Gaiden 2 over this any-day overall it an OKAY game

wasnt the game overpriced enough and wtf does multiple hours of additional content mean? the campaign only lasted a day so how many minutes would it take to finish this especially when it costs a 7th of the price?

@theend3r @Xellos976 you definitely had to play the SP more than once for that for rank or whatever. Cool if thats ur thing but i need varied content and new things to do. if this game lasted u 5-10 longer than any other game then u definitely havent played skyrim or any other rpg for that matter. Im just saying at the end of the day buying Ascension over this makes more sense to me as it costs lesser, lasts longer (sp), has better graphics and even has multiplayer even if its gameplay may be worse for some.

@Xellos976 Oh really, so you got all S rankings on Revengeance mode in one day?

Getting to the end of the campaign on easy or normal isn't hard. Getting there on hard is a challenge. Getting there on Revengeance mode with the skill it takes to get the achievement/trophy takes WORK.

Sir everyone's definition of fun is different and remember if you play Hack and Slash just one time for story and experience you will never get enough. This genre is all about learning the curves and executing, a game must be played at least on hard to get some fun out of it when it's challenging and forces one to change approaches and such stuff

Jetstream Sam was easy to beat in MGR but playing his own DLC sounds good to me and I'm hoping it would be a prequel before he join Desporato. As for pricing on PS3, I got the PS3 version and considering MGR was meant to be play on PS3, there should be a discount for PS+ such as myself but hey, I'm all in for this DLC SP anyway.
