Careful, that some monitors are mis labeled above and also in the amazon descriptions. They are not 4k but 2k and cannot do HDR 10, and have lower peak brightness then advertised. Also HDR at less then 400 is barely noticeable, even 400-600 is pretty weak.

But hey, I would buy the thing, keep it for a month, RMA and ask for your money back, "not 4k but 2k", and then take another month before shipping it back. Get to try it out for a couple of months.

@jenovaschilld: Also Samsung is notorious for writing “IPS”
on the product pages for some of their non-IPS-panel products.
I caught them doing this many times last year.
Each actual panel component has its own serial number you have to look up,
to find out what it actually is. You can't trust Samsung to tell you.
There's no grain of truth to it at all. It's simply a bare-faced lie.

On what (in my opinion) is the most eye-catching deal listed here,
i.e. the Odyssey G32A (24-inch, 1080p, 165Hz) for $150,
Samsung/Amazon/both have really gone to lengths
to avoid mentioning what type of panel it is.
Even to the extent that I can't find any user questions on the topic,
which I frankly find hard to believe given what a crucial piece of info that is.
(It's a washy VA panel in this case, of course.)
Still, that's better than their usual straight-up lying
and hoping their customers either won't notice or be too depressed to return.
