Kingdom Hearts Re:coded on DS Jan. 11

XBOX WHERE ARE YOU????????? I want to play this game but I'm not buying a DS to play it!!!

The spin-offs are getting pretty tired now.

@Lazay727, only certain portions will be card based. Just like how Olympus is the only portion that's going to be all turn based game play. @canx12, SE = Square Enix

@Wellk k , but what'a SE....and darn i rlly hope they release KHIII on the psp or wii or else i'd kill myself, because i don't own a ps3 :( ( sad face )

I would have liked it better if it wasn't card based. While cards dont ruin rpg games, have they ever made them better?

@canx12, I'm not 100% sure, but I would assume so. Some people speculate that he has to save Roxas Xion and Axel too. Axel I guess I understand, but Roxas and Xion make absolutely no sense. Pretty much, the plot of Re:Coded is setting up KHIII, so to all of those saying SE is milking the franchise, they really aren't, they're going about making KHIII in a pretty smart way.

@Wellk, uum by 'torment' do they mean terra&co or someone else btw i only know that terra lives in his armor.

@oChampion, you're playing a digitized version of Sora made up of data from Jiminy's Journal. When Jiminy returns to Disney Castle, he finds a page that says "We must save them from their torment," or something of the sort. Jiminy shows King Mickey the message and the King puts Jiminy's Journal into a computer (I think) and creates the Digital Sora to go through the, what I assume, are the adventures and major events Jiminy wrote in his Journal so Digital Sora can investigate for things he may have missed. While he does this, Digi-Sora finds corrupted data and missing links. If you want you can search on other sites to double check my info, but I think I got everything right. Hope I could be of assistance.

If anything, I'll play through this for the secret movie that Tetsuya has been hinting on.

I'm playing through these games just to follow the story and it's becoming a chore now. Make KH3 Square or else I may just give up on the series. On the other hand Birth By Sleep is very good.

to all the kh fans: just keep buying the kh games we are just bound to get kh3. i just wish they were on ps3, but I'm a kh fanboy i take what they give me.

With all these "Kingdom Hearts" spin-offs, I'm beginning to wonder if we'll ever see "KH3", or even "Final Fantasy Versus XIII" for that matter.

i dont get it, if the events in this game happen after the events in Kingdom Hearts 2 then why does Sora look younger and have his kid clothes on again? Can somebody explain what is happening?

With the 3DS expecting to cost between $250-300, I'm very happy with Square Enix on their rational decision to release Kingdom Hearts Re:coded for the DS. I don't know about you, but I'll be picking up my copy when it comes out.

Ds Kingdom Hearts is one of the best series' on the console

Looks interesting but since I lack a DS, I will stay with Birth by Sleep.

@malhound Kingdom Hearts 3 wont be the Keyblade Wars.. The Keyblade War already happened. Play Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep and you will understand. You must be getting that secret cutscene at the end of KH2 confused, that wasnt KH3, it was Birth by Sleep.

i have bought all the kingdom hearts games but i just dont know about this 1, dosnt really seem important enough, but who knows maybe when the price falls below $20?

All I know is that it's gonna fit that last hole that's been bothering me in Birth by Sleep's secret movie. This better be the last spinoff, I need to see KH3...NOW

KH1: Who knew a spin-off of a game could be so deep? LOVE IT KH2: Wow. The graphics, the cutscenes, the new characters... Lots of imagination and depth (If you've read all of Ansem's journals). KHChain of Memories: I didn't think a card game like that could ever have been so successful and fun :O ... ... The list goes on. All I'm trying to say is that the KH franchise is going to be as large as the FF one. All of whice started through a spinoff.

i was a huge Kingdom Hearts fan, i have 2 KH tattoos, but all of these ports are just not going to do it. The 3d technology will be awesome for KH, but there's 30 portable titles already. i don't want to pay $300 for a new system just to play this when they've been promising us a full version for years. It's as if 3DS is just a bunch of console ports

I hope all these spin off games are just so current children who were too young during the ps2 era can get the story in some way so they will be ready for kingdom hearts 3. In 10 years these spin off games aren't going to do it anymore.
