Suda 51's Killer Is Dead will be released in North America on August 27, publisher XSeed Games has announced.

Launch copies of the standard edition will come with a soundtrack CD for the game, and an 80-page hardcover art book. Early copies will also contain a Smooth Operator DLC pack that includes a bonus story mission, a bonus Gigolo mission, and in-game outfits for supporting characters Vivienne and Mika.

Killer Is Dead is developed by Grasshopper Manufacture. The company's CEO, Goichi "Suda 51" Suda (Killer 7, No More Heroes) is the game's executive director. The Japanese and Asian version of the game will be released on August 1.

I love all suda 51 games, so i having a good hope in this one so i can wait to play it and see how it turns i hope not getting disappointed, but it was a good selling move to put the soundtrack and art book in the standard versions

If I watch the gameplay I think they could do much better and it has to many quick time events that makes the game boring and easy. It also doesnot look like a game of this year more like from 2005. It will be sold in Asia but it is not something for Europe and North America.

@shingui5 @Hurvl @Warlord_Irochi I usually play one at a time, but I like games with infinite replay value, like RPG's and some shooters. I also like to use mods which prolongs the time I spend with a game.

My backlog of purchased games would probably take a year or 1½ year to finish, but adding my want-to-play-list of games would add several more years. I'm slow/thorough and like it that way, but it does have its disadvantages.
