GBA milestone noted with new colors

Stateside GBA sales are punctuated by introduction of two new colors.

Nintendo of America announced today that it would offer Flame (red) and Onyx (black) varieties of the Game Boy Advance SP in the US.

Nintendo of America also announced that it has sold more than 15 million units in the US. According to Nintendo, Game Boy Advance SP sales have accounted for 40 percent of all system purchases in recent months, averaging more than 500,000 units sold per month.

By the 2003 holiday shopping season, more than 500 Game Boy Advance titles will be available.
