Game Pass Adds CFB 25 Today--But Only For Ultimate Subscribers

Game Pass Ultimate subscribers can now play EA Sports College Football 25.

Comments

Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers now have access to one of the most popular games of 2024. EA's College Football 25--the No. 2 best-selling game of 2024 in the US--is now available for Game Pass Ultimate members as part of EA Play.

College Football 25 is not available on PC, but Game Pass Ultimate members can play the game on the Xbox App for PC via cloud streaming as part of their subscription. This is the full version of College Football 25, not a trial; subscribers have unlimited access as long as their membership stays active.

CFB 25 is not the only popular football game in the EA Play catalog, as Madden NFL 25 is there as well, alongside last year's EA Sports FC 24. Another perk of EA Play is access to 10-hour trials to EA's other games, including FC 25, NHL 25, EA Sports PGA Tour, and Dragon Age: The Veilguard, among others.

As mentioned, EA Play is only available through Game Pass Ultimate(or as its own subscription), so subscribers to Game Pass Standard or Core will not get to play CFB 25 as part of their membership. EA Play on its own costs $6/month, so anyone who wants just that membership can get it without Game Pass.

EA is now working on CFB 26, which is expected to launch in July. It was recently confirmed that student-athletes who opt in to participating in the game will receive payment of at least $1,500. More details about CFB 26 are expected to be announced in the coming months.
