Fragpunk For Consoles Launches Later This Month
The game is already out on PC.
Developer Bad Guitar Studio have announced that Fragpunk will launch for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S on April 29.
Fragpunk is out on PC but suffered a last-minute delay on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Console players will be compensated for the delayed launch and receive the rewards from exclusive time-limited events since the beginning of Season 1 until April 29. Those who purchased the Pioneer Bundle on console platforms will also be eligible to claim additional gifts after the console launch.
Fragpunk has cross-play and cross-progression between the console and PC versions, with more details coming as the launch date nears. The console versions also have enhanced aim-assist to minimize the disparity between controller and keyboard-and-mouse inputs. This was done to ensure an equally competitive environment for all players regardless of platform.
Season 1 of Fragpunk is in full swing so be sure to check out its battle pass rewards. Fragpunk is a free-to-play hero shooter that utilizes a card system with various abilities. The card selection changes every round and can be mixed and matched to create different combinations.
Bad Guitar Studio is also a subsidiary of NetEase, which earlier this year, was reportedly trying to sell off its non-Chinese studios, but the company claimed that it was still committed to its overseas developers.
