Agreed with a lot of the points made on here. No ultrawide support and no wheel support are a total fail, free or not. You simply do not create a racing game without wheel support out of the box, particularly when the wheel you own is a wheel designed to work on XBox and Windows. However, I will say that the Thrustmaster TX support on the XBox is horrible and this game is undrivable with the wheel. I am curious to see if the PC works any better, but I am not holding my breath. I don't expect Apex or Horizon 3 will have the ultrawide support at any point. They will likely be no more than direct XBox ports with the same 16:9 support. Forza 6 was likely my last game from this group. Forza 6 is still unplayable online with ridiculous wreckers before the first turn. Wasted money from day 1. I will be sticking to the alternatives unless some major shakeups occur.

@gargos: 21:9 confirmed on their Twitter feed. https://twitter.com/WeArePlayground/status/744841027261980672

There's also a 21:9 and 5760x1080 hack for Apex floating around.

@Malzius: 21:9 is less popular than 4k or multi-monitor. It's fairly new still. As far as "code" goes, the game may be done and then support for obscure resolutions will patch in over time.

@howthegodzkill: if there is a type of game where 21:9 is popular, its racing game, shame there is no support. nothing else to say about it, especially from a big publisher like microsoft, there is simply no excuse

Wheel support... that's what I like to hear. Most racing wheels either support PC and PlayStation OR Xbox... Microsoft's support for PC is getting better and wheel support makes it even more appealing. Better graphics, better performance, less peripherals...

Since I upgraded to 4K, I lost the ability to play in 3 panel surround because I only have a single 70" 4k panel and left with two 60" 1080p side panels. Anyone know if Forza supports that officially? The only way to know is actually play it and see how it handles the HUD, menus and intro's.
