E3 '07: Wii getting Fit

it looks fun but its like the ps2 web cam game

I don't need Wii fit.

I am looking forward to this, though I'll need more room in the living room.

It is very nice how Nintendo is aiming for a new audience to expand the gaming population. With this Wii Fit, I am sure they will defeat any claims of video gaming being an unfit hobby. I was sweating alot when I played Wii Boxing and Wii Tennis, so I hope this will provide some better fitness :)

meh like all excercise related things, it will be diffecult to continue doing it... but with the competitiveness they are suggesting it might just work sadly I'm not that competitive most of the time

again, good idea... too much coverage, i would have liked to see some other games in action.

My wife will love this! Well so much for relaxing playing games. Ah the golden years...i miss it. Still Smash will own.

Without sounding sexist - I think the girls will love this one :) Good to see they're opening their minds to different games that appeal to a different audience.

I can see this being huuuuge with non-gamers. Although I wil be getting this also as I am a bit of a fitness freak and would love a way to monitor my fitness level on the Wii. I predict that the Wii is going to become a device in every home just like a DVD player.

NO BAD! This is probably the reason why Nintendo canceled project h.a.m.m.e.r., and didn't even mention disaster! All for a boogie board.

Yet another gimick. Nintendo fans are being milked so bad, they don't even realise what's going on anymore. Although it might actually help America's stupid and obese gamers. That is by heading an invisible football which will shrink a thick head. Pun intended.

People should open their eyes there is a much larger demographic out there and thats what nintendo is tapping,

Wii getting fit? WTF is Nintendo thinking... I prefer go to my local gym and train myself there. I rather have ''Wii getting fat'' and play UT3 and Halo 3 instead. Siriously...no need for such a gimmick :|

I'm hoping that developers will find a way to use the Balance Board for other things then fitness. Namely EA Sports finding a way to incorporate the board into their SSX series.

This looks interesting. The balance board could have a lot of interesting applications.

What is Nintendo going to come out with next, "Nagging mom THE GAME". Featuring such levels as "clean your room" and "eat your vegetables!" And c'mon have a sense of humor you fanboys....

Nintendo isn't even making games anymore. Truly with stuff like this coming out you know nintendo only cares about more money coming in with a "wider audience" then pleasing gamers in general.

While the initial design for this has little to no interest for me, the idea of games with Skateboarding, Surfing and Snowboarding could use this to great effect.

My name is Reggie and im Happy haha. Microsoft's was alot better, feel sony will have a better one too. For 20mins at the start Nintendo just said, we're great blah blah we're the future and clips from the internet and tv withpeople with their wii motes (and even tho im a big fan of nintendo it just annoyed me and felt really big headed) Ok Nintendo, the Wii is sucess we get it, now move on a tell me about 2008. Checkmiiout? Sigh Metroid demo sucked. Wii zapper? are you kidding? When he started talking about online, i got excited, yet it still looks like the damn friend codes will exist. But hey whatever, Mario Kart Wii(everyone kinda knew it was coming) but ONLINE, now im happy, but they think beginners will be able to keep up with people that have been playing for years? dont think so Reggie. Wii Wheel sucks too. Was that a bee suit in Mario Galaxy? looks interesting. Wii Fit WTF??? i want to know cost of that, if Wii Fit comes out around Christmas then thats me done for a few months (just like wii sports)
