New pay-what-you-want bundle includes Costume Quest, Psychonauts, and Stacking, with options for Brutal Legend and Kickstarter adventure game.

The newest Humble Bundle is focused on Double Fine. The Humble Double Fine Bundle went live today, allowing users to pay what they want for Costume Quest, Psychonauts, and Stacking.

No Caption Provided

In addition, those who pay more than the average (currently $8.29) will unlock Brutal Legend, while paying $35 or more will get gamers a preorder copy of Broken Age. This is the game formerly known as Double Fine Adventure, the company's high-profile Kickstarter game.

Similar to past Humble Bundles, all games included in the pack are DRM-free and are compatible with Windows, Mac, and Linux. Supporters can choose how they wish to divide their purchase: between Double Fine, the Child's Play Charity, the Electronic Frontier Foundation, or the Humble Bundle organizers.

More than 12,000 bundles have been sold thus far, driving more than $105,000. The Humble Double Fine Bundle closes on May 20.

Unfortunately, I already have all of those. If you don't, you should jump on this.

Only problem with this bundle; who doesn't already own all of these magnificent games?

If you don't already, what's wrong with you?

@TheGreatPhoenix so what? 1$ (or whatever you want) is still an awesome deal for stacking. plus, you can give the other steam keys to friends!

@GameYakuza @TheGreatPhoenix FYI - This bundle has 2 Steam Keys. 1 for Psychonaughts, Stacking AND Costume Quest, and another for Brutal Legend if you beat the average.

If you want to give the other games to friends then it's still only $1 to gift them 3 games.

@uglypinkmoose I think that it's worth it. Even if you don't have any interest in the game Stacking or Costume Quest you can still try/own them for a dollar. you can even gift a bundle to someone else.

This is kinda sad. Gamespot posts articles about an announcement about a coming announcement (Sony later this week), video game violence being accused of causing real-world violence, and a feminist who want to make a documentary about the MCP controlled gaming industry. All three stir readers to post a slew of comments.

Then they list something that might actually have an impact in the lives of gamers (cheap games and money to good causes!) and it only gets a passing glance.

It's probably because Double Fine didn't create Halo, Call of Duty, or any of the other countless clones.

@StickyJr1 I just don't see how something simple and awesome as this could cause controversial discussions in the comment section.

@StickyJr1 I don't know what you want; they put this story on the front page and gave these games good press when they released. It's up to people to take an active role in playing good games

@Naylord @StickyJr1 I didn't point to Gamespot as a problem. My remarks are an indictment of gaming culture. To point, the fact that many gamers are more interested in the yearly rehash of the pretty-but-extremely-shallow FPS games, while quirky original properties are largely overlooked.

@StickyJr1 How is it Gamespot's fault what receives the lion's share of the clicks and comments? I love Tim and Doublefine as much as anyone commenting here, but let's face it...what he's doing isn't going to be the focus of any AAA-oriented sites.

@J_Dangerously @StickyJr1 You read something into my posting that isn't there. I never stated that it was Gamespot's fault. My comments are primarily about gamers...

@J_Dangerously @StickyJr1 And that's absolutely the best thing about it. The games feel like games your friends made for your entertainment, not like mass-produced games which are made to please a huge fan base.

Ok, I just sold my Xbox360 Brutal Legends disc for U$18.00 to a friend and reverted it all for this Bundle. I already had all theses games, but I'll store them to use as gifts in the upcoming birthdays... Who said developers don't get any money from used sales? Ha!

That trailer had me dying of laughter. Also, the trailer for their new game looks stunning, definitely just shelled out $35 for this.

Played the heck out of all of those, but a nice chance for people who haven't. All great, even if Brutal Legend isn't quite as epic as it could have been.

@Sefrix Yes, you should, especially for Ubuntu. The only game I beat on there was Psychonauts too, which was pretty damn good. The one game on there that I want to play the most is Brutal Legend, it looks pretty funny.

Costume Quests is pretty sweet. It's a very simple game but it's a nice adventure that reminds you how it is to be a kid. Well worth playing and very charming.

Well, would've been nice. But I already own the two games I would've wanted: Psychonauts (GOG) and Costume quest (GOG). Though, for those who don't already own them, it'd be worth it for those two alone.
