Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 out this winter
Release window for Mercury Steam's action game confirmed; title will feature some open-world elements; Patrick Stewart to return as Zobek.
Mercury Steam's upcoming action game Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 will launch for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC this winter, publisher Konami confirmed today in a pre-E3 briefing. 
The release window comes by way of an all-new trailer for the game, which shows off the game's modern-day setting and some of the title's new characters, enemies, and weapons.
In addition, Mercury Steam today confirmed that the game will feature open-world elements.
Mercury Steam's Enric Alvarez explained that "in Lords of Shadow 2, you'll be able to walk freely all over the game's universe without loading times and with a very organic and real feeling."
Lastly, the new Lords of Shadow 2 trailer hints that Star Trek actor Patrick Stewart will reprise his role as Zobek in the new game.
