Capcom Confirms New Resident Evil Game Is In Development With Resident Evil 7 Director

@hardwenzen: I've played all the main entries since PS1 (didn't finish RE6), and I was so happy RE7 got back to a smaller horror experience. In the original game, you actually had to conserve ammo, and yes, run away from enemies. I agree the end with all the blobs was repetitive at first, but VR kicked every up a notch, making those blobs scary AF, which fixed it. You may not like it, but it def felt a return to Resident Evil.

@hardwenzen: you straight wildin cuh, 7 was and still is the closest thing to an og RE experience since the release of RE:CV

@Ohaidere: 5 was what got me into Resident Evil. My best friend that I had recently met actually through work, was a fan and brought it over to my house, we played through it co-op and it was a great time. I was surprised when I learned it's considered one of the worst entries, it didn't align with my experience. I guess it is this, because I played it with my friend, and besides I had no point of reference to other RE games.

@Ohaidere: It's close, but I agree. Co-op RE5 was probably the best thing I played on the Xbox 360.
