Canopus Bundles Board

In a move designed to please Quake II players - as well as those about to buy a second generation 3D board - Canopus has announced that it will bundle its new Pure 3D II board (which uses the 3Dfx Voodoo 2 chipset) with the first official expansion pack for Quake II, The Reckoning, from Xatrix

"We've finally found game software that takes full advantage of our acceleration," said Jim Anderson, VP, Marketing and Sales of Canopus Corporation in a statement. "Our customers are serious gamers who play Quake and Quake II. Now, the next mission is on us."
