Call of Duty: Black Ops zombie co-op confirmed

@DillTurnips no offense taken. I can sometimes br a jerk with people when it comes to talking about COD, but I have held back lately. I like COD and enjoy the games, BUT I have other games to play to. Most of these COD kids blank out 99.9% of games out there as if COD is the only gaming series to exist. I find them boring and pretty sad considering on how many classic games they are missing out on.

@SgtStrungOut u make a very good point there...im sorry i called you an idiot earlier, but i do know people that play Call of Duty like its no ones business, but they also play other (better) games. Personally, i cant stand Call of Duty anymore, and the only good one nowadays is CoD4. But your point about "casuals" (good insult? y/n) thinking they are hardcore gamers is a good one.

@DillTurnips sorry, but what I say is fact. I been gaming since the 80's. I am a gamer and during these past few decades, I have noticed how all these casuals (who wouldnt normally be playing video games) are jumping the gaming bandwagon and thinking they are "gamers" just because they play Call of Duty. People like that will never be gamers with the limited selection of games they play as well as the lack of experience they have.

the wii version is gonna be sick... from the things i have read, they have been able to do a lot with very, very little... even get a headset this time and zombie mode which was left out of world at war when it came to the wii...

should actually be the same survival gametype, but with non-zombie npc's attacking you. that way, it wont seem like recycled content, and probably a lot more challenging than zombies. good example of this is that one gametype on GRAW with that huge horde of mexican rebels attacking you and your friends.

... Nazi zombies was overrated at best. I just wish developers would stop adding zombie gamemodes in order to attract more buyers. Would stick to l4d2 anyday

Hmm, Nazi zombies worked because the Nazis were evil, commie zombies not so much. "We want to make all people equal and stop poverty" doesn't quite scream evil to me. Other than that this game looks ace, November 9th is clear for just this.

i think that putting zombies in this game is good i mean whats better than blowin a zombies head off with an ak 47

I htink you need to have a hardcore moderate. I love to play and play alot but just dont have time on the weekdays. I play most major games online, battlefield, COD, Halo, but I also have a very busy schedule. I still play 20 hours a week but just not over all the time.

is zombie mode for wii too???

@ JoeSour That's because RDR has a horrible online multiplayer. Don't get me wrong, the SP is outstanding, but MP could have been worked on a lot. Not tried the zombie mode yet so we'll see. Can't wait to shred some soviet/asian/whatever zombies in this game though. The only good part about W@W was it's zombie mode!

I never understood why people like that come on here, just to bash the game and the people that might like it. @JohnnyMan100 I feel like you're missing a chunk of the gaming percentage, so Imma rewrite this for you :) Casual gamer: A gamer who plays from time to time, and might own Wii and some simpler games. They are just looking for a distraction from their life for a little bit. Moderate gamer: The gamer who likes video games and plays them, but doesn't play all the time. He/she might enjoy every type of game out there, but either because of lack of time or lack of interest does not play all the time, just from time to time. Now, hardcore, I think, needs to be separated into two categories: Hardcore - competitive: The hardcore gamer that plays a lot of games online, with other people. They are buying new games frequently, mostly to play the online version. This gamer is frequently playing, sometimes more than not. Hardcore - recreational: The hardcore gamer who plays games frequently, but might enjoy more of the single player and vs. AI modes than playing online against other players. They spend most of their time in, for example, the campaign and horde/firefight modes than in the multiplayer component itself. They buy games frequently, but might not choose to/ might not have a strong interest in the multiplayer component. I know there are people in between in a lot of these cases, but I think it's pretty good :)

What I don't get is that people blast other games having zombie modes (RDR) but love it when COD gets it.... whats up with that?

@JohnyMan100 i wouldnt say people who play guitar hero arent gamers. i play a wide variety of games, and guitar hero/rock band are games on that list. @zombieshot115 i hope that isnt directed at me. i was just telling that idiot that he has no right to say that someone isnt a gamer, especially when he doesnt know what kind of games they play

@DillTurnips There are different types of gamers Casual Gamers: The ones that arent really "gamers". They mostly (or only) play Just Dance, Wii-anything, Guitar Hero, Rockband, and other games Hardcore: This gets divided into sections which i wont get into. plays mario, CoD, Halo, Zelda, God of War, Metroid, and other games.

Glad to hear zombie co-op is confirmed but is it confirmed for all systems or just the PS3 and XBox 360? Wii owners got shafted last time when the aforementioned Nacht der Toten was left out of the Wii version. Personally I think there are few things more natural than actually getting to point and pull the trigger (Ala Wii mote) before giving the undead a shotgun lobotomy. Call me a skeptic, but I'm waiting for a confirmation.
