Buy One, Get One Free Best Buy Deals on Pokemon X/Y, Zelda: A Link Between Worlds and others

I wouldn't call it a "gimmick" - all advertised specials are inherently intended to get you in the store (Hello, Marketing 101). I was able to get the 3DS, both Pokemon X and Y, Bravely Default and Zelda without any trouble. Later in the week, I went to Walmart with the ad and asked them to match the deal, and they did. I purchased a second set of Pokemon X and Y (Buy one get one free) at Walmart, $40 total plus tax. A nice deal overall!

This deal smells very much like gimmick. I just the website and you couldnt buy those games on line you had to have them shipped to a store. I tried that but no Best Buy within 200 miles of me after more checking didn't even have the games. I went to into the store today thinking maybe the site was hiding what the stores had. Walked into best buy and not one of those games were there. I bet best buy just made this deal without ordering any more product just to get people in the store.

Wal-Mart will honor the deal if Best Buy is a local retailer. They may try to be dumb and fight it but it's on their website they match buy 1 get 1 free deals with specified price. Just bring in the best buy ad, otherwise they may try to call BB and deny if it’s out of stock, but they didn't for me.

Wal-Mart seems to be the only retailer who usually doesn't care if it's in stock or not at the store the ad originated from.

I am sad and underestimated how many people wanted tomodachi life. In just one day, there is no more games in stock nor can I order it online. T__T I was planning on getting that and Mario Party(I own the rest)

Alright now I can finally enjoy a 3DS

I was at my local best buy at 10:00 am when they opened and they only had 2 of each game. I was able to pick up zelda and yoshi but wth is up with a buy one get one free for almost a week if your not going to have enough in stock to even offer it to more then a couple people. I am glad I was able to get these yesterday or I would be SOL it looks like..

got myself kirby+tamadochi and pokemon y + yoshi its being shipped to be can't wait to get my hand on the games

Was interested in getting Kirby Tiriple Delux and New Yoshi's Island. Great I can buy both for the price of one. Now just need to find a store around here... :L

Yes Best Buy is having a great sale on stuff they do not have in stock online or at any of the stores in my state. I'm curious why they don't have it online at all.

I ordered two games (Mario party and Mario golf) and Wii remote. I can't believe Yoshi 3DS and Kirby shipping is closed so fast! Shame on people. LOL.

Just went to best buys website and you can't order any of those games online, you have to do store pick up. I tried that and none of those games are available at any best buy within 100 miles lol.
