Ben Affleck Looking For A "Graceful And Cool Way" To Finish Playing Batman

YAYYY! Affleck is awful. hes hired because hes known and attractive (a big trend for bats which usually fails). His good movies are those in which he doesnt act, he reads and plays himself. Im so relieved the character can go into recovery mode, having the bat and the joker be worthless guts the DC universe.

The 90s movies werent great and the portrayals of the bat in them maybe worse, but they are right on par with movies of their era, and held against contemporary material which we expect to be filled with campy one liners, I cant hate on the job older batman actors have done as much...but when youve got all the money in the world now and let an always deadpan dipstick ruin your movies, its a problem. I know precious few real DC fans, plenty of pop culture batman fans, but few who know stories and multiple backgrounds for characters, and I defend the storytelling of DC like mad, but he is part of the reason Marvel is continuing to win.

He went from writing, directing, and starring in a new Batman film to doing none of those things and also looking for a way out. Hollywood sounds fun! Anyway, I'm sure Flashpoint will rewrite everything anyway.

Nope, solo Bat movie with Affleck won't work. You just can't stand against Bale's Batman. Nope.

But you know what the best part of my day is? It's for about ten seconds from when I pull up to the curb to when I get to the theater. Because I think maybe I'll get up there and to see Batman and you won't be there. No goodbye, no "see you later", no nothin'. Just left. I don't know much, but I know that.

Good luck with that. Maybe you can exit the role, by gracefully entering into Mallrats 2, or Jay and Silent Bob Return of Justice.

Oh well, if the guy dont want to play the character just let him go. Now lets make that long overdue red hood movie and an anime batman movie shall we DC? Do mr freeze side movie too. Or deathstroke or hugo strange. Damn batman has such a great roster.

He's still better than Clooney or Kilmer...

Considering the allegations against him of Sexual misconduct it's best for DC/WB to cut ties with him. No explanation just new guy is Batman there might be a vague reference in the next movie "did you change something" and move on.

While i would prefer Affleck stayed on as Batman, if he truly wants out, then he should just go away now. There is nothing worse than continuing on with someone that doesn't have their heart in it. Also, I really don't want the story to be tailored around an actor wanting to leave. The story should always come first.
