Ariana Grande Will Be in a Final Fantasy Game

The "Side To Side" singer has a role in Square Enix's mobile game.

[UPDATE] Gumi, which is collaborating with Square Enix on Final Fantasy Brave Exvius, today officially confirmed Ariana Grande's involvement in the game.

On top of that, Grande's song, "Touch It," is getting a Final Fantasy-style remix. You can hear this song in the trailer above.

Gumi went on to say that more details about Grande's involvement in the game, as well as a "limited-time in-game event," will be discussed in the middle of the month.

Finally, it was confirmed today that Exvius has passed 9 million downloads around the world, not including Japan. To mark the milestone, everyone is getting a "significant boost" for daily log-in bonuses.

Megastar Ariana Grande has a role in a Final Fantasy mobile game. The singer announced on Instagram today that a character based on her will appear in Final Fantasy Brave Exvius, which came out in 2016 for iOS and Android.

"Pretty lil thing holds her own in a room of men in suits ♡," Grande wrote in the caption for the Instagram photo below. "I'm SO so excited to finally share that I'll be featured in FINAL FANTASY BRAVE EXVIUS *crying*"

Regarding her character, Grande said, "It's the cutest thing I've ever seen in my entire life and I'm so excited and in love with it I cannot contain myself."

Grande's character, DW, can be seen in the follow-up Instagram video below. The character is wearing Grande's trademark bunny ears.

Grande played the character Cat Valentine in Nickelodeon's Victorious before breaking out as a massively popular pop singer.

Megastar - lol. She can't be a megastar if I have never heard of her. Another thing - where is the "pretty lil thing" in that photo? I have looked at it now numerous times and there ain't nobody in that photo that is even remotely pretty. If you are finding so then I highly suggest investing some glasses.

That one guy though looks like a younger version of Ridley Scott. Having now Googled who this airhead is she looks like a 12 year old with that silly tied up ponytail she seems to absolutely love because its the only hairstyle she seems to know.

I must say I wish I could live my life being totally delusional too (Megastar, Pretty lil thing).

@alien-ouy: I'm from Canada and we get American products and advertising sometimes. I can assure you they're shoved down your throat and very hard to ignore. I've seen at least British TV (I watch British politics), and it doesn't seem to remotely resemble the intensity of celebrity culture that I see even just from Canada (and we're certainly not innocent...). If you don't watch TV you miss the worst of it (like the Kardashians, which are advertised all over the place), but you're still exposed to lewd and risque product advertising in the real world, even in pharmacies like Shoppers Drug Mart.

I wish it was easy to ignore here but the fact is, it isn't. I can't blame people when they follow this junk because ... it's just so heavily shoved into their faces it's hard to see how it's entirely their fault. Propaganda is effective, maybe we should have tighter laws forbidding companies from advertising sex (it's not like it was ever a hard thing to sell...). They won't stop otherwise though, because they make a nice profit with this marketing style.

@indzman: I can't stand Ariana but to say she's an ordinary singer is pretty naive. Just watch her SNL clip of doing vocalist impressions. It's pretty impressive. She's still a POS though.

Todays animators are lazy artists. Justice League is one of the few worth watching.

They even destroyed teen titans.

Good thing the movie exists to correct this travesty.
