Aliens: Colonial Marines has shipped 1.31 million copies

Aliens: Colonial Marines was Adversities and showed great footage with a GREAT DEMO but with less than months to go Sega found out there was a licensing issue, They need to pay a VERY SMALL Royalty to the Game Engine Makers. So did they act reasonable and pay the fee? NOPE they scrapped it. So did they Like do the honest thing with all there PRE-ORDERS THAT PRE-PAYED for the game based on the footage and return their money or say SORRY there be AT LEAST ONE YEAR DELAY??? NOPE!

They grabbed a generic Engine uses a Stripped Story and slammed a game out in the few months Remaining..

How strippped The Aliens Wear not ANIMATED they were Statues Like a 1980s DOS Game. Not a glitch there simply was no animation...Cardboard cut out style. Beevis and Butthead would of done better. That was only one example. So Payed Fanboys please shut up, Sega and the rest of the world better forgetting that Fubar. So stop trying to say its a good thing. I just want a video of the Moronic Executive who did this being forced to wear a sign in his or her undies that says Idiot thief Standing on a street corner in Tokyo. They do that in Japan I think its a lovely corporate custom.

Otherwise, i'm glad Sega is doing good. Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed is one of the best fun racers i've played. It's incredible fun with a couple of friends.
It's also good to see that Football Manager does good, even though it can't be sold here in Germany one of the biggest football markets in the world thanks to EA and their stranglehold.

Amazing. It's good to know that there are people out there who don't let reviews influence their decisions and act like puppets. These miserable reviewers tried the same crap with another fun game. Operation Raccoon city. Heck, if i listened to these reviews the only thing i would be playing would be the COD franchise.

glad sega all start racing transformed did so well. That game was crazy fun. Crazy speed and lots of personality. Flight mode was a blast.

I have never seen/ heard of a game where quite literally everyone who has played it despises it. I mean there are games that get "average" reviews that myself and others play and think aren't too bad, but with Colonial Marines...thats not even a thought. Shame, this could have been something special.

How? How has this shipped 1M+? How did SimCity ship 1M+? Why are people such idiots?

I mean, c'mon, the PS1 Alien games are better than this! Why don't people buy those instead?

I really wanted to like Aliens:C:M: so I Gamefly'd it. I was hoping the reviews and people were too harsh on it but after playing for 2 hours I realized that this game really does suck. It is almost exactly the same type of game as Duke Nukem Forever.(Which I actually got most of the achievements.. at least the game wasn't serious like A:C:M: ) It's like they made the game in two days and went back to working on Borderlands. It really is a bad game and it's dissapointing to have such an awesome idea go straight to the trash heap.

Sonic & All Stars Racing Transformed > any Mario Kart game. Sega still does what Nintendon't.

Every game can't be a great game, there have been bad games in the past, and I'm sure there will be no shortage of terrible games in the future. This is part of gaming, that is why sites such as this one are a vital part of video game culture.

However, when people start suing companies over bad games...because they assumed it would be something else...we start down a dark path.

Developers who are at risk of legal punishment would likely be less willing to take a risk on ANY game.

I just laugh at all of the people that pre-ordered it and bought it the first week that it came out without waiting for reviews and such.

Bought Aliens used, took it back the next day, didnt even finish it. Read the story online and watched cut scenes on youtube. It was that bad!

Nice work Sega, buy a golden licence, get some poor muppet company to make a mess of it, take all the profits when it sells anyway on licence alone, then let the muppet company take the backlash and die while you enjoy the profits. Well done.

What gets me is the increase in profits for sega. Man these are definitely the odd ducks in the world of gaming. In a day and age where the industry is routinely posting losses, Sega does this.

If they only knew how to make a buck in previous generations, sega hardware might not be the stuff of myths.

The only person I could think of that bought that Sonic game would be Christian Weston Chandler. Also, as an Aliens fan...don't get me started on A:CM.

Aliens was crap and even with all the glitches, bugs, and HORRIBLE reviews, it still sold. How? How in the hell can an obviously crap game still sell 1 million copies? The only redeeming quality Sega has is the Total War series and the surpise Sonic racing title. It was awesome. No big surprises here.

Aliens was one of my most anticipated games of 2012/13. I couldn't be more disappointed right now.

Still, Sonic All Star Racing Transformed is a great game.

I have not played this game in a long time. I actually had some fun with friends when I played the compaign. But then I saw what the game was suppose to be from a demo, and I have not played the game since. It was the first Aliens game that I bought so I did not get that upset about it.
