3000AD readying Universal Combat sequel

Despite the original's poor reception, a follow-up to the space sim is being planned.

Universal Combat, 3000AD's PC space sim, met with poor reviews, legal difficulties, and numerous bug reports when it was released earlier this year. Nonetheless, the Florida-based developer and its outspoken head, Derek Smart, are planning a sequel. According to a 3000AD press release, Universal Combat: Edge to Edge will arrive in stores in November 2004.
