Animal Crossing puts you in the shoes of a boy or girl who is in an odd village of animals. You can do anything in this game. Your house: You can use any of the (seemingly endless list of) items in the game to decorate your crib. From wall paper to carpeting, or the furniture, it's all possable. Better yet, why not hang up your clothing items to show off? Or some fruit! The possabilities are endless. You can have a style to your house, or just dump everything there. You can expand it's size, add a basement, get a second floor, or more. Better yet, use your custom patterns as wallpaper and carpeting. Tailor: Make your own patterns, usign the very pallete that Nintendo used back on the NES! Any sprite, backround or anything that you see on the internet displayed in spritesheets (that was on the NES) can be copied pixel-by-pixel and used. Or you could make your own pattern. Patterns can be used on clothing, umbrellas, wallpaper, carpetting and sign posts. It's great. NES: Animal Crossing includes exact ports of a dozen or so NES games. They play perfectly, and can be played as long as you own the furniture. Additionally, you can play them on the go. Read below for details. GBA: Using a GBA, you can unlock many extras otherwise unavalable. First, you can send any NES games you have in your house into your GBA until you turn the GBA off. Second, you can download the tailor's pattern making program to your GBA when your separated from your Cube. Then, when you return, you simply take your GBA out of sleep mode (keeps getting better and better) and plug it into the Cube. Then, you can download any of the new patterns you've created onto the cube. Lastly, you can go to the island. The island is a two acre area with an island house and a villager living in his own little crib. He'll ask you for specific furniture. You can decorate the island crib any way you want. You can upload "animal island" to your GBA and interact with a virtual version of your island. When your done, you can upload any changes. Those changes help you get rich fast in this game. Multiplayer: While technicly, this game features no multiplayer, it does. You can have 4 total people in your village. They can interact with the town and island. However, only one person at a time can do this. Your town will grow weeds if you stop playing for a while. The interactive clock makes the game change from night to day. There are holidays in this game. There are seasons in this game. Theres tons to do, and it will surely keep you busy. While I'm probably missing a lot of great things, you can find those out yourself.
