Never have i been so disappointed by a game that got my hopes up. This game needs a big update to fix things............

User Rating: 6 | Act of War: High Treason PC
At first, i bought Direct Action and it blew my mind away. It had the perfect graphics, actors, story line, sounds, free to do stuff, and a entire arsenal of units with 3 different factions. When i heard that Act Of War:High Treason was released, i immediately got my hands on a copy. The end result was a bug filled let down that had the true potential to be a perfect image of how a RTS game should be. Act Of War: High Treason would have been a great game. The first reason is the Naval Combat in the game, when i heard that Naval Combat would be in High Treason i was excited as i got to do everything i wanted to a Non-Fiction RTS game such as amphibious landing of marines and TFT soldiers, blockades of enemy bases, and Aircraft support from the sea. I was happy that this was in the Campaign, but when i played Engagement mode ( Skirmish Mode) I was substantially disappointed when some of the maps had Naval Support, but yet no ability to build a Naval Support base, which affected my gaming experience by a long shot. Second, is the difficulty of the game's campaign, it was hard to do especially with the VERY VERY limited resources and the mysterious ability for the enemy to apparently have 'keyholemaster' cheat and 'fortknox' cheat enabled all the time as the enemy has unlimited resources and know exactly where you are and constantly send a stream of enemies after you. This addition to the game's AI does make it challenging and fun, but there is a point where it is challenging and just plain unfair. It was so hard that i had to use the 'yeepeekaye' cheat to keep my enemy in check so it doesn't grow 3x as fast as i can hope to grow. Third is the acting, I very much miss the good acting and movie cutscenes we saw in Direct Action. But, in High Treason, we rarely saw any 3D cutscenes and good acting. And what's up with Vega's voice, it did not sound as real and serious as it did in Direct Action. The Acting and cutscenes made it feel as you were thrown into a movie. Fourth is the story line.So okay, the story behind the game wasn't that bad. But, last time I checked, the Consortium was weak, virtually destroyed, and without leadership by the end of Direct Action.I personally, thought they had plans for world domination or disruption, but in High Treason they return as Biological Terrorists which really screws things up because in Direct Action, they had no interest in any form of Biological Terrorism. But maybe they should've left it just to the Coup and with Consortium helping the Traitorous Vice President instead of branching to Bioterrorism. Fifth, is the sound, i don't know if anybody else experiences this but, the sound effects seem to cut out frequently in some campaign maps of the game. Or maybe sometimes you'll hear radio responses that have no connection to what you just did. Other than that this game is okay, not good but okay.
