Great flight combat game, but way too short.
The gameplay is excellent, the controls work great and you get used to them very quickly. All the planes handle differently and all the special weapons work in their own unique way.
The graphics are where this game really shines. The textures are great, the planes look real, and even from 10,000 feet, the backgrounds and ground details look terrific.
The sound is also absolutely amazing. It's among the most professional jobs I've seen in all the games I've played recently. The voice work is terrific and all the planes sound subtley different. The game's really a joy to listen to.
The game won't last you long, though. The just under 20 missions will be finished in about 8 hours, or so. Fortunately, there is lot's of incentive to replay, and the game never get's boring. The several different twists to the great storyline will also keep you experimenting.
To sum up, Ace Combat Zero: The Belkan War is a great flight combat game that does everything just right.
