An Honest Review written after PLAYING the game.

User Rating: 8.3 | 50 Cent: Bulletproof PS2
50 Cent: Bulletproof is cetainly a controversial game. Judging simply by the sheer amount of variety in the user-reviews, people's opinons on this game are varied, ranging from endless rants about shooting 50 (who has brain damage here??), to raving about the game.

The problem is that people tend to focus more on the fact that this is 50 Cent's video game, rather than looking at the game itself. Just because it stars a rapper doesnt make the game, and anybody's opinion of 50 cent should not relate to their review, good or bad.

Bulletproof is an action game at heart, with a "gangster" theme, obviosly. The graphics are certainly above-average, and the sounds are pretty on the ball, even if you don't like 50's music. If you do, it's right up your alley because the game includes just about every 50 cent song to date, plus an original soundtrack by 50, as well as some tracks by G-unit, Lloyd Banks, Tony Yayo, Young Buck, and more.

The shooting action is very fun and addictive, especially in the arcade mode. The story mode is a little more difficult because he funky-shaped crosshair makes it difficult to hit enemies. This is made more complicated because your "aim" increases the longer you target an enemy. This is a good idea, but any time your enemy moves the slightest bit, you have to start "aiming" all over again, making it very difficult to hit a moving target.

But that's just a small detail in an otherwise good game. There are small problems throughout the game that prove very frustrating, like the complete lack of checkpoints (that's a real hair-puller when you die late in a lever) and the fact that it's nearly impossible to figure out how to swap weapons on your person just right.

All-in-all, Bulletproof is a decent game that provides plenty of fun, and is certanly better than i expected coming from 50. I'm not an assbag who's going to jump on here and write a bad review just because it's 50, or sit here and write about how he should be "sniped" over and over again (seriously dude, what the hell is wrong with you), im just trying to give some insight into the game.

Play it strictly for the shooting fun, and you'll see what i mean.
